Members of the Jamestowne Society are descended from early settlers who lived or held colonial government positions in Jamestowne, Virginia prior to 1700. The Society was organized for educational, historical, and patriotic purposes. The First South Carolina Company brings together descendants of those early settlers to share common historical and genealogical interest. We honor the memory of our settler ancestors.
To become a member of the First South Carolina Company (FSCC), one must first become a member of the Jamestowne Society. The process and list of qualifying ancestors can be found on the national website: Jamestowne.org
After acceptance into the Jamestowne Society, a member may apply for company membership. Upon verification of qualifications, an invitation to join FSCC will be issued.
